Assistant Management Accountant - Temp to Perm, c£30k - £35k (depending on experience)

Abingdon - 2 days in the office, 3 at home (once fully trained)

Rate: £13-18ph + holiday pay (depending on experience)

I'm delighted to be supporting our International, award-winning client, who are going through a period of expansion, and year-end, so require an experienced Assistant Management Accountant, to provide support to the Management Accounts Team. Ideally you will be available at short notice and be able to offer some recent experience of working in a hands-on, supportive Assistant Accountant role.

Your duties and responsibilities as the successful Assistant Management Accountant will include:

Supporting the Senior Management Accounting team on a daily basis with a wide range of accounting tasks
Assisting with the preparation of the month-end reporting
Updating the Fixed Asset register and posting depreciation
Assisting with monthly accruals and prepayments
Preparing monthly reporting packs for the budget holders
Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Posting purchase invoices and cash allocations
Ad-hoc data analysis or reporting and ad-hoc projects

The ideal profile as the Assistant Management Accountant

Can-do attitude and able to offer previous and recent experience of operating at this level
Superb communication skills, with all levels within the Company.
Must be happy to pro-actively processes improve and be able to bring new ideas to the table
Be systems savvy and Intermediate Excel knowledge - pivot tables, v look ups etc
