Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for Assistant Management Accountant for a leading organisation based in Tamworth on an on going temporary contract.

The Role

The Assistant Management Accountant is a pivotal role within the finance function and to the wider business. You will work closely with the Finance Controller to assist in the production of month end management accounts.

This role will ideally suit someone with month end experience, speak to non-finance and someone who is keen to develop with an exciting and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Posting month end accruals, prepayments
Assist in month end management accountants
Maintaining accurate inter company records
Support balance sheet financial controls
Month end duties
Assisting with Year End

Candidate Attributes;

- Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE

- 1 year plus management accountants experience

- Keen eye for detail

- Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Hours; Monday to Friday and 37.5 hours per week
