Gleeson Recruitment have partnered with a well-known business near Walsall to hire an Assistant Accountant, this role will be on a fixed term basis for a minimum of 6 months. The successful candidate will be experienced in dealing with a backlog of fixed assets.

Assistant Accountant Duties:

Updating and reconciling ledgers
Dealing with a backlog of fixed assets.
Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets for the company
Preparing documents such as purchase orders and bank statements.
Verifying company expenses, bank deposits and bank payments
Researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely fashion
