My client is a small business based in Solihull. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join there small Finance team on an interim basis. You will report into the head of Finance and be responsible for the transactional accounts and journals and accruals and process improvement.
Assistant Accountant responsibilities:
Processing of Accounts Receivable invoices.
- Resolve billing queries.
Management of receivables.
Collection, coding and getting approvals for all Accounts Payable invoices.
Contact and follow up with vendors when needed.
Preparation of correcting Journal Entries, accruals and account analysis.
Being responsible for all cash controls, including cash and credit card receipts for on-site sales.
The successful Assistant Accountant must:
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage diversity in job responsibilities with precision and accuracy in work
- Must be hands on and be able to multi-task
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Have experience in the above job duties
