AFTERMARKET SALES MANAGER - Global Travel - Home Based


Are you the kind of Business Development and Sales Leader that can take a class leading group of international products and develop a robust global aftermarket sales and support strategy around them?

Would you like to lead the commercial aftermarket function for this Global Industrial OEM and develop a team of sales professionals while travelling internationally to both develop new aftermarket business as well as nurture a grow existing customer relationships?

This organisation produces some of the leading systems in their class and supplies to the marine, power generation, nuclear, military and oil & gas sectors to some of the most prestigious end user customers on the planet. Their mix of power and energy generation equipment can value up to £11M per item and so needs the customer support and service that goes with that level of investment and so the right technical solution for aftermarket is key to the offering.

You will be an experienced international technical business development manager with a proven level of new business acquisition and key account development success in your portfolio. You will need to understand, interpret and manage customer aftermarket and service requirements and be able to turn those into bottom line revenue for the business in the long term.

Any experience of the power generation, motors, pumps, compressor, turbine or turbocharger industry would be a distinct advantage as would previous global travel and diverse business cultural interaction experience. The ability to travel internationally as and when required is a must as well as a flexible approach to both office and home based working.
