Ideally, you'll be an experienced Accounts Payable manager with over 5 years working within a P2P management role. As Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of Accounts Payable services within the Purchase to Pay end to end business process whilst ensuring compliance to key business controls therefore experience within a SOX environment would be desirable.

You will be responsible for ensuring the payment of suppliers on time, working with the business and suppliers to resolve invoice disputes and queries so that Aged Creditor balances are tightly controlled

Working with key stakeholders, the Accounts Payable Manager will be key to supporting development and enduring improvements on systems and processes to provide customers with an effective and efficient, high quality accounts payable service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising an accounts payable team
  • Ensuring excellent customer experience through the accounts payable function
  • Managing invoice payment terms and ensuring invoices an staff expenses are paid to deadline
  • Ensuring the Accounts Payable team are compliant with internal controls
  • Continuously identify and review process risks
  • Monthly Statement reconciliation
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Understanding working capital and cash flow
  • Manage cashflow forecast inputs
  • Accounts Payable month end duties / Period close
  • Driving improvements
  • Assisting with system upgrades and development
  • Developing robust training and development framework
  • Managing major stakeholder relationships
