We currently have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager to join a thriving finance team on a permanent basis near Solihull. Initially you will be working remotely however in the future this will move to a mixture of home based and office based. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is experienced in process improvement and people management. This is a position which sits between the Transactional Finance function and Management Accounts, ensuring smooth communication of information. You will have your own responsibilities which link the two departments as well and managing a small team. Reporting into the Transactional Finance Manager you will be looking after 4 direct reports, conducting their one to ones and be the point of contact for any escalated queries.
You will have a keen interest in process improvement, and have the confidence to look at a process, identify how it can be improved and make that improvement. Ideally you will have a strong transactional processing background to ensure that processes can be implemented and changed to increase productivity and efficiencies.
