I am partnered with a global enterprise who are experiencing year-on-year growth and now looking for the addition of a competent Accounts Payable Clerk into their friendly finance team. You will be based just outside of Gaydon and welcomed into the successful finance function on a full time permanent basis, for a salary of up to £30,000 PA and market-leading benefits.

The successful Accounts Payable Clerk must possess strong Accounts Payable experience and confidently be able to manage typical AP processes with a keen eye for detail. It is crucial you can pick up ad-hoc finance responsibilities such as bank reconciliations and basic payroll with ease due to the expansion of the group to relieve pressure from the transactional team.

Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities include:

  • Invoices posted accurately and in a timely manner
  • Raise supplier payments and BACS runs
  • Basic payroll when required
  • Identify and investigate supplier reconciliation queries
  • Maintain accurate ledgers
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Ad-hoc transactional accounting and administration duties to ensure the team are supported

The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will have:

  • A strong history of Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience working within a small team
  • A positive attitude with enthusiasm to pull together as a team to get the job done to a high standard
  • Great excel skills; V-lookups and Pivot Tables are essential
