- Ensure invoices are processed via a two-way matching system in an accurate and timely manner.
- Communicate confidently with suppliers to resolve invoice or payment queries.
- Reconciling invoices.
- Make sure accounts payable duties are compliant with policies and procedures.
- Take on ad hoc duties to support the wider team.
Is this role right for you?
Previous experience within Accounts Payable is desirable but not essential for this role. You must be confident in all-round administration duties and have previously worked in this environment. You should have a good knowledge of Excel, be able to analyse data and have an eye for detail to pick up on inconsistencies. Good communication skills are of high importance to this role because you will need to build relationships with suppliers. You need to be able to organise and prioritise your workload effectively and meet specified deadlines. You must be adaptable, organised and a real team player. You should also be flexible and have a 'can do' approach to your work.
- Annual salary of up to £25,000 DOE.
