Accounts Administrator (3 months temp role) - Newbury, West Berkshire
Temp role - 3 months, with possible long term extensions
5 days in the office

Will consider a school leaver, or graduate or those with Admin experience or those with Accounts Payable experience

Ideally will be a car owner due to location of this client, but there are buses and trains that are fairly local


Our market leading, UK based, successful fast paced organisation based in Thatcham, Newbury, Berkshire, require an Accounts Administrator to join their team, initially for 3 months, to cover year end and a very busy time for them. This is a unique, broad and hands-on Accounts Payable role, where you will be reporting into the Financial Supervisor, working alongside a team of 8 in AP, and you will be responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities, within the AP team.

Your duties as an Accounts Administrator will include:

- Coding and processing all AP invoices, ensuring accuracy and a high attention to detail at all times

- Matching invoices to good received notes

- Processing of Supplier Statement Reconciliations

- Managing all AP queries, taking ownership of any follow ups needed

- Daily processing of all invoices and payment runs and supporting the AP team with anything required

- Data entry of invoices onto the system

- Supporting the team with an imminent year-end

- Also support the team with an up-coming audit

- Handling various queries, as well as ad-hoc finance duties, whilst also supporting the wider finance team

- Ad-hoc work

The successful Accounts Administrator will be able to offer:

- Potentially previous experience of working within an office role, or recent finance experience

- A strong eye for detail

- Able to work on Excel and accounting packages with ease

- Strong communication skills and be able to work within a small, friendly, growing finance team

- Be flexible, adaptable and turn their hand to anything
