My client who is a leading automotive service provider based in Hampshire are looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their ever growing team for a period of 4 months. The rate on offer for this role is between £325 - £350 a day with a high chance of extensions.

The successful 3rd Line Support Engineer will be working for an employer who has spent the last 5 years at the very top of their field and have recently undergone a large merger which has ultimately lead to the creation of a number of support vacancy's.

The successful applicant will need to provide technical project support for the business for five regional call centres and 60 nationwide depots. there is currently a large migration to a MPLS network across the estate and this position will be a play a pivotal role in the success of this deployment, therefore you will have knowledge of networks, layer 2 -3 protocols, IP Design, Cisco Switch configurations with VLANS and QoS, Wireless Network, Server build & installation.

Part of this role will also include elements of support to ensure that 24 x 7 operational expectations are met, therefore experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Group Policies, SharePoint online, Microsoft Teams, VoIP and IP telephony. Additional experience with Cyber Security using the ISO27001 will be of benefit.

Other projects for this year include updating Anti-Virus platform, MDM solution for mobile devices, device encryption, VPN, SCCM and asset management.

There will be initially some national travel during the migration and a driving license will be required

Skills / Attributes Required

Strong knowledge of Network design and Cisco equipment.

Strong knowledge Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 2016 Servers.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure

Strong knowledge of Cyber Security with ISO 27001.
Excellent telephone manner and customer facing experience.
Microsoft and Network certification such as an MCSE or CCNA and above is desirable.
Understanding and experience in GDPR and BCP/DR is desirable.

Other IT industry standard qualifications is advantageous.
