2nd line Support Engineer needed for a growing business based in Shirley, Birmingham

Key Responsibility

  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on your own and as part of a team
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues
  • Handling escalated calls from first/second line members
  • Provide support to users via telephone, email and remote control
  • Administration support via Active Directory

Technical experience required:

  • Experience of remote support and troubleshooting
  • Server 2008/2012
  • Office 365
  • Windows 7,8.1 & 10 desktops
  • Active directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
  • Exchange 2013 on premise together with Office 365 exchange
  • Desktop imaging using WDS (to build new desktops/laptops)
  • VMWare / Hyper-v configuration and support
  • IP Networking experience
  • Printer configuration
