Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting a multimillion-pound property organisation based in Dudley who, through organic growth are looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team.As Financial Accountant, you will be reporting into the UK Financial Controller and will be producing monthly financial accounts pack for each trading subsidiary, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow.This is a technical role suited for practice movers, or those with a Financial Accounting background from industry. ACA/ACCA Qualified is preferred although finalists will also be considered.The team manager, as well as others in the team, is practice trained so will be a great mentor for those ACA's looking to for a first role in industry with the right guidance.Financial Accountant duties:Production of variance report with commentary, capital expenditure reporting and bad debt review.Support the group financial accountant with month end management reporting for review by UK and Group Finance DirectorsMonitoring of AP/AR ledgers and ensuring their effective administrationResponsible for loading accounts data into Cognos and undertaking reconciliations to ensure accuracy.Completion of monthly VAT returns.Production of cash forecasts.Quarterly bank reporting to include financial accounts extracted from the above, covenants and ratio analyses, tenancy schedules and sundry reporting as required by the banking agreements.Production of medium-term forecasts (3-5 years) appropriate for distribution to lenders.Production of year-end financial statements at subsidiary level in line with FRS 102.Production of year-end audit packs and liaison with external auditors.Production of tax packs and liaison with tax advisors.Review of annual tax computation.There will be multiple avenues to progression internally in the future across a Dudley finance team circa 60 people.The business prefer onsite working, with work from home available on occasions.
