A Quality Technician is a required to support with internal & external quality activities, to support further growth of a business. Job Description As the Quality Technician you will be working closely with the Quality lead, driving key activities, supporting with supplier's as well as: Key Responsibilities: Complete Quality Assurance activities for all product such as Goods Receipt Inspection (external product) and end of line Firewall Inspection (internal product) Completing and maintaining Inspection Plan Reports and Inspection trace-ability records Administering Defective Material Reports and liaising with suppliers in case of non-conformance being detected Review Supplier PPAP submissions Submitting Engineering Change Requests and Deviation forms as required Support analysis of suspect product to maintain production output (MRB) and Customer Warranty analysis Support internal containment activities and maintenance of trace-ability records Maintain all measurement equipment in line with calibration system Complying with Health and Safety regulations and participating in corresponding Audits (HSE, 5S, Gembas) Working Hours: Monday - Friday Experience Required You will be either looking to kick start your career in Quality Assurance, or have previous experience in a similar role with manufacturing experience as well as: Experience with PPAP would be desirable Ability to analyse & report data and/or measurement analysis would be desirable An ability to read Engineering drawings is a must By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Gleeson Recruitment Limited. EHS Officer 6 months

6 Month Role Immediate Starting To assist in promoting the highest level of awareness and compliance in all aspects of Safety, Health and Environment Management in line with the business zero harm strategy. This key role will not only help deliver sustainable improvements to the facility but also help develop a cultural change in the mind-set of all employees. It will embrace all aspects and matters relating to the Safety, Health, Wellbeing and Environmental Management of the facility, integrating a common sense approach into the business needs. Support with the development and implementation of the site EHS improvement plans. Support the implementation and sustainability of the EHS MAFACT requirements with EHS Manager. Report on key performance indicators and status at daily/weekly meetings Ensure maintenance of all EHS related records Co- ordinate site Energy meetings, attend all EHS committee meetings. Collate and report EHS KPI's for the site at plant and group level as required Co- ordinate and deliver site inductions for all employees and non-employees (contractor controls - RAMS etc) Assist in the development, maintenance and review of site training matrices, ensuring training needs are addressed in a timely and cost effective manner. Co- ordinate and assist line managers in conducting and reviewing site risk assessments. Co- ordinate and assist line managers in the development and reviewing of site safe systems of work. Use HSE linx and Tapestry portals. Keep up to date with our compliance management requirements Assist and support the Ergonomics programme for the site Monitor and report on incident management via Tapestry systems. Near miss, Acctrack, DWB & Hazard spotting) Support line managers in completing timely incident investigations. Participate in EHS audits, to measure safe conditions, safe acts and to ensure legal compliance. Co- ordinate PPE requirements on site and ensure appropriate stock levels are monitored and maintained. Carry out internal EHS inspections, checks and audits. Support deployment of EHS Management Systems and new initiatives. Provide EHS advice and guidance to all staff. Develop and maintain an understanding of applicable legislation, industry & group standards. Support line managers in the delivery of briefs and toolbox talks including training programs. Weld Engineer to set up a Nadcap approved cell Our client are a sheet metal roll forming company supplying parts into the Aerospace Industry. They predominantly supply open ended steel rings which our customers have to then weld internally and send back to us for expanding. They are confident that welding is the missing piece of their production chain and will allow them to offer thier customers a better product and service. They are looking for a highly experienced welding engineer with a proven background in setting up / managing and maintaining a Nadcap approved welding cell. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to come in and scope the project and then implement everything required and pass a Nadcap Audit, enabling the company to be able to offer this service to it's customers successfully.
