You will be responsible for ensuring that all Group Companies comply with their statutory and regulatory requirements, whilst working in partnership with the finance team (currently 3 people) based in India to ensure output, priorities and tasks are of the requisite quality and timeliness. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the preparation of month end accounts. Statutory Accounts for all Group companies and for ensuring that all Group companies comply with all their Regulatory Returns. Overseeing and supporting the effective delivery of all finance tasks carried out by the team in India. This includes Management Accounts and Cash Flow forecasting. This is a newly created role, that offers fantastic exposure to unique and autonomous projects. The primary purpose of this role is to drive strategic and tactical direction and improved business performance. You will view and report on the external market, customers, competitors, and suppliers, developing business plans. You will agree business targets for all areas of the business to meet objectives, using MI to anticipate market issues & drive the business to implement mitigating actions. This is a key role working with the members of the Senior Leadership Team. The Job: Reporting into the CFO, you will be an ambitious, commercially-minded Director and Partner, with proven experience of building strong relationships within the non-financial stakeholders to take a joined up, proactive approach. Preparation of the annual financial statements and as well preparation of budgets and forecasts. Provide financial information and business partnering support. The Requirements Fully qualified Accountant - QBE with proven experience will also be considered. Management Accountant

Gleeson Recruitment Group are working in partnership with this growing SME manufacturing business in Coventry, who are recognised for their excellent and progressive working culture, to recruit a Management Accountant, due to sustained growth within the business. As the Management Accountant, you will play a key part within the Finance division. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will deliver accurate management accounts, group reporting, variance analysis and commentary to support business growth. Key responsibilities: Preparation of monthly management accounts. Maintaining standard and current costs for purchased and manufactured items. Supporting the Financial Controller in completing internal and external audit processes. Balance Sheet reconciliations, posting & reconciliation of accruals. Fixed Assets reconciliation, calculation and booking of depreciation. Cashflow reporting and forecasting, in multi-currency. Finance partnering with Operations to help support more informed decision making across the business. Providing support to the wider Finance division. The requirements: ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified, or finalist. Qualified by experience will also be considered. Experience of improving finance reporting processes, functionality and efficiencies. A confident communicator who can develop relationships across all business functions. Experience within SME manufacturing and ERP systems is advantageous.
