We are seeking a commercially driven Finance Business Partner to provide financial management across the company, with the overriding aim of helping the Group to improve the financial performance. This is a key role working with other members of the Senior Leadership Team. The Job:Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be an ambitious, experienced candidate, with proven experience of building strong relationships within the non-financial stakeholders to take a joined up, proactive approach. Gleeson Finance are seeking a progressive SME Accountant, who would like to develop their career in this established consultancy business in Leamington Spa.This is a newly created position due to growth, and will report into the Financial Controller. This is a hands on, all round role, with no direct reports. You will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts, transactional elements, financial reporting and business partnering with the operational managers in the business.Other duties include:Assisting in the monthly close of P&L including the posting of all accruals and prepayments.Monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet with presentation back to the Financial Controller, including bank reconciliations and accrued income.Monthly production of financial metrics, detailing the financial health of each geography.Working with company accountants in the production of full year statutory accounts, and providing relevant information to company Auditors.Regular production of the short to medium term cashflow forecast.Production of internal management reporting.Management of purchase ledger, credit control and payroll.We are seeking an ambitious individual with a real passion to broaden their business experience whilst positively looking to improve the operational environment. Assistant Financial Controller

Gleeson Recruitment Group are working in partnership with this growing SME manufacturing business in Leamington Spa, who are recognised for their progressive working culture, to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller.Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will play a key part within the Finance division, delivering accurate management accounts, group reporting, variance analysis and commentary to support business growth.Key responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accounts.Maintaining standard and current costs for purchased and manufactured items.Supporting the Financial Controller in completing internal and external audit processes.Balance Sheet reconciliations, costings, posting & reconciliation of accruals.Fixed Assets reconciliation, calculation and booking of depreciation.Cashflow reporting and forecasting, in multi-currency.Finance partnering with Operations to help support more informed decision making across the business.Providing support to the wider Finance division.Preparation of budgets and forecasts, including cash flow and working capital management; this will include presenting to the senior exec team.There will be scope to be involved in additional project work as it arises.The requirements:ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified, ideally minimum 1 year post qualified.A confident communicator who can develop relationships across all business functions.Experience within an SME setting and ERP systems would be advantageous.Manufacturing industry experience is desirable.You will be an ambitious and motivated leader, who can work autonomously and make an instant impact.In return:Up to £55,000 salaryHybrid working, 2 days a week working from homeDiscretionary bonus25 days annual leaveLife Cover Private Health CareLifestyle benefitsCareer progressionWant to hear more?
