Logistics Project Manager

Can you bring expertise within Logistics Solutions Design to a global distribution and warehousing organisation? Are you able to work autonomously, with a positive attitude and do you have experience of managing projects within a logistics function? I am working with a global organisation that have a requirement for a Logistics Project Manager. Due to huge growth, they are looking for an individual who can drive improved supply chain processes/functions for their key customers and implement these functions into their business operations whilst following project timelines. Working closely with their commercial and operations teams. you will join an organisation that is a market leader within their field supplying across the retail, ecommerce and entertainment sectors. You will be responsible for delivering best practice logistic principles, policies and processes across the wider business supply chain to improve operational performance. These are business-critical roles as they look to deliver solutions to logistics problems whilst still maintaining the highest levels quality and customer services within budget requirements. You will work with individual site teams to maximize efficiency and support new business set up to ensure all logistical requirements are met. In order to carry out this role you will need the following skills & experience: Experience of managing RFPs & RFQ's Project management experience within a logistics/warehousing environment Experience of working with SAP system Able to demonstrate reliability, good time management and organising skills. Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail Strong customer focus Excellent written and oral communication skills The ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across business verticals at all levels, as well as external client communications at all levels An independent, proactive, motivated self-starter that remains focused on task and delivering results in timely manner Ability and willingness to travel as needed Excellent analytical skills Having worked extensively with this company over several years, the future of the organisation has never looked brighter with this role offering the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their career and progress. Indirect Buyer - CAPEX

Are you an Indirect Buyer with experience of working within the automotive sector? Have you had responsibility for procurement of goods and services within a production environment? I am recruiting for an Indirect Buyer to join a customer focused, large automotive organisation based in Northamptonshire. As Indirect Buyer you will have responsibility for a spend of approx £10M focusing on CAPEX that includes IT, Manufacturing and facilities. This is a 12 month fixed term contract and would somebody who is immediately available or on a short notice period. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, purchase goods and services, prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules. You will also negotiate contracts, build strong relationships with suppliers and monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers. Your initial focus will be on general capex, machinery and assets but you may also be required to get involved in some direct procurement to cover for holidays etc. In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience: Previous procurement experience within an engineering environment Indirect procurement experience - specifically CAPEX Strong relationship building skills Computer literacy with strong Excel skills A commercial outlook Experience of ERP systems In return, you will receive a salary of circa £45,000 to £50,000 along with the opportunity to work for a leading organisation.
