As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Contract Directors and operational teams within a cluster of service units. This is part of a significant multinational business with revenues in the billions.understanding and managing operational financial performance. You will have the following responsibilities:Raising journals for business area, ensuring validity of accounting entries and compliance to contract, escalating any concerns to Regional Finance ManagerManaging the period end Review and Approve process and being the central point of contact for operational teamsReview of operational working capital components and recommending / driving actions to improve performanceEnsure billing is timely, accurate and complete ensuring processes, procedures and systems meet contractual requirements recommending improvements and efficiencies as appropriateSupporting the Profit Protection team, driving units to complete self-assessment audits and assisting with completion of action plans to achieve required scoresImplementation of standard monthly reporting to be used in the businessSupport the implementation of the workforce management and any other projectAssist in training of operational teams in the use of business reporting to understand and improve their financial performanceAnalysis of financial performance highlighting to Contract Director/Manager key points to be discussed at monthly reviewAnalyse and manage all unit contract costs, ensure full purchase compliance, manage margin percentagePreparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, challenging operational performance, understanding and reporting key variancesAttending and presenting at designated client meetingsAny other ad hoc duties as requiredWho you are:Experience of business partnering senior stakeholders with the ability to challenge, influence and persuade at all levelsHigh numeric and analytical skills and attention to detailComfortable developing and working with complex spreadsheetsDemonstrable commercial finance experience of improving business results and adding valueExcellent communication skills - ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logicallyAbility to analyse, evaluate and present information in a clear and concise way,By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Gleeson Recruitment Limited.
