Finance Analyst

Gleeson Recruitment Group are on the lookout for talented Finance Analysts to join a large manufacturing business based in Leicester on a full time, permanent basis. The successful Finance Analyst will be welcomed into a thriving and friendly finance team, where success and ambition are recognised and regularly rewarded. If you are looking for your fast track to Finance Director - this is it! Depending on experience and qualifications the Finance Analyst can expect a salary of up to £45,000 PA. The primary purpose of the role is to analyse large volumes of complex data, identifying anomalies and trends, and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business. The Finance Analyst will act as a Business Partner, taking full ownership of key client accounts. You will be working closely with the regional Finance Director, assisting with planning and forecasting and looking at historic data. It will be key for this role to form a strong relationship between Region and the reporting hub, to ensure the Region aligns with group accounting policy and deadlines, whilst also servicing the needs of the operation on the ground. There will be a focus on FP&A activity in region, including build cost analysis, sales performance, completion profile reviews, trend analysis, variance analysis and re-forecasting. This is in addition to the standard management accounting month end reporting processes, which is overseen by the Hub. Requirement to work in Regions with Quantity Surveyors to understand build cost movements. Production of reports based on individual site performance - ability to cut through this information to clearly articulate these commentaries every month. Support in preparing investment packs for when procuring new land A confidence and willingness around new IT systems is a must. As a result the candidate will need a detail focused mindset who is tenacious and able to reconcile positions. Confident enough to challenge assumptions and spot trends. You will be based in the Coventry office 2 days per week (3 days WFH) on a permanent basis, for a salary of up to £25,000 PA. As the successful Credit Controller, you will be a key member of the team and expected to look after your own set of client accounts, developing strong working relationships to assist with cash collection. This is an exciting Credit Control position; not all of the debt accrued is straight forward, so it's crucial you have an inquisitive mind and love to investigate the "hows" and the "whys" to resolve queries and collect debt effectively.
