Senior Associate - Employment
Location: London | Salary: £122,500 | Hybrid: 2 days in the office
I'm recruiting for a highly-regarded employment team with a strong UK presence and growing international reach, and this is a rare opportunity to join a practice consistently recognised for its expertise and market-leading work. You'll be at the forefront of complex and high-profile employment matters, advising both UK and multinational clients across advisory, litigation, corporate, and global mobility work.
This role offers the chance to work on precedent-setting cases, complex reorganisations, high-value senior executive disputes, and cross-border projects, all while being part of a collaborative, supportive team that values professional development and career growth.
Why this team?
One of the largest employment teams in the UK, with a global network of specialist employment law firms.
Exposure to a diverse range of clients, from fast-growing businesses to multinational corporations.
Structured career progression with mentoring, support, and opportunities to take ownership of your work.
What you'll do:
Advise on all aspects of employment law: contracts, policies, disciplinaries, grievances, restructures, redundancies, and discrimination claims.
Handle employment tribunal and high court matters, including restrictive covenants, injunctions, and senior executive disputes.
Support transactional work such as M&A, TUPE, and outsourcing.
Assist clients with modern employment challenges: atypical working arrangements, gig economy, agency workers, global mobility, and reward and incentive schemes.
About you:
5-8 years' post-qualification experience in employment law.
Strong technical knowledge across both advisory and contentious matters.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
Comfortable managing clients independently and taking ownership of work.
Proactive, commercially minded, and a team player who is keen to continue developing professionally.
If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact, develop your career, and work on high-profile, market-leading employment matters, this is a unique opportunity to join a top-tier practice in London.
