The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, values-driven organisation seeking an experienced Retail Marketing Lead to shape, deliver and champion its brand and marketing strategy. This role will lead multi-channel marketing activity across retail, services and PR, ensuring consistent brand representation, strong community presence and customer-centric growth. Working closely with internal teams, you will oversee campaigns, events, membership strategy and supplier partnerships, driving brand perception, customer engagement and commercial performance.
Key Requirements
Lead and deliver brand and marketing strategy across multiple divisions.
Manage in-store and customer-facing communications across key themes and seasonal campaigns.
Own PR strategy, developing a proactive calendar to promote achievements and initiatives.
Support brand guidelines and act as a champion for organisational values.
Promote community and charity programmes, including national partnership campaigns.
Lead membership strategy, including proposition development and customer value enhancements.
Oversee customer insight activity, including NPS, CSAT and brand perception research.
Manage supplier relationships, marketing funding opportunities and media centre activity.
Coordinate marketing for new store openings, refurbishments and major events.
Develop and evaluate multi-channel campaigns in collaboration with digital, commercial and wider internal teams.
Candidate Criteria
Experienced marketer with a strong track record in multi-channel campaign delivery.
Strategic, analytical and confident using data to inform marketing decisions.
Creative thinker with the ability to bring concepts to life across varied customer missions.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable working at pace.
Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
Experience working across diverse business areas and customer groups.
Demonstrable experience in digital marketing, CRM or retail marketing (5+ years).
Ability to manage budgets, suppliers and multiple concurrent projects.
Degree-educated (or equivalent experience) in marketing, digital media or related discipline.
