Job Opportunity: Credit Controller
Location: Dudley, Brierley Hill
Position: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to play a key role in managing the company's aged debts, ensuring the smooth collection of outstanding balances, and collaborating with senior management to achieve key financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reduce aged debts through efficient collection processes, negotiating payment plans where necessary, and escalating late payments to legal recovery when required.
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance and departmental heads to monitor and achieve KPIs.
  • Record and address client queries, ensuring that chase history and payment timelines are well-documented.
  • Analyse debt over 60+ days and develop strategies for continuous improvement, providing monthly reports on debt collection activities.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Credit Controller in a fast-paced, professional environment.
  • Skills: Strong debt collection capabilities, confident negotiation skills, and a professional yet assertive approach.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience using Case Management systems.
  • Attitude: Solution-oriented, with great problem-solving abilities and a clear focus on meeting cash collection targets.
